1. A public health and safety emergency exists. The President must act.
2. It is already too late to debate new laws that dance around the edge of the problem.
3. Mass killings at movie theaters, schools, Temples, and now 20 more young school children will continue.
4. People not yet adjudicated in court to be emotionally unstable can still steal legal guns.
5. Congress has long proven it cares not to be part of a solution.
Therefore, be it resolved that in the interest of public safety, the President must use his emergency powers to direct that all people in the U.S. turn in all legal, illegal & collectible firearms to the military, by military force if required, & followup with laws making it possible for only the police and military to obtain firearms in the future.
