use his influence to persuade Steven Moffat to have John Barrowman reprise his role of Capt. Jack Harkness on Doctor Who

In 2005-2011 American raised Scottish actor John Barrowman portrayed the beloved character of Captain Jack Harkness over 11 episodes of Doctor Who and 48 episodes Torchwood.
In a little over 3 months from the start of this petition, Jenna Coleman will be leaving the show, thus ending her role of the doctor's (currently being played by Peter Capaldi) companion.
This petition urges the President to use his influence as Commander in Chief, to persuade Steven Moffat to request that John Barrowman reprise his roll of Captain Jack. It is believed that in doing so he will not only bring joy to millions, but will also help elevate the cause of human rights. There are not nearly enough strong heroic gay male icons. Barrowman can help fill that void and be a much needed role model. And he is awesome
