This petition will simultaneously address the serious problem of homelessness in the United States and the persistent conspiracy theories about why the United States is stockpiling portable shelters. Most people don't understand that once a government contract starts providing jobs in a Congressional District it's almost impossible to end the program. Let's make use of this pork instead of leaving those shelters sitting around to rot while Americans sleep outdoors.
