The United States is unique among western democracies in its pathological obsession with unfettered possession of guns and ammunition. The Surgeon General has declared that gun violence a public health issue. We petition the White House to use its unique position to get in front of the movement to repeal the Second Amendment so that we can step back and build a sane and balanced firearm culture in America.
