The conservative dominance of the Roberts court can no longer be tolerated. This activist court has committed numerous travesties of justice, including:
-Striking down key provisions of the Voter Rights Act of 1965.
-Endorsing acts of voter suppression by several US states.
-Ruling that corporations have free speech rights, thus allowing for unlimited corporate political spending.
-Ruling that corporate owners can ignore federal law and impose their religious beliefs on their employees' healthcare.
The Supreme Court must be reigned in. As such, during the 2014 lame duck session, President Obama and the Senate Democrats must act. Nominate twenty new Supreme Court Justices. The Senate can then amend the filibuster rules and confirm them all on simple majority votes.
