The Government of the United States of America must act to prevent destruction to one of the largest and best preserved Roman Archaeological sites in the world.
Our Republican form of Government, and Western Civilization as a whole are directly descended from our Roman forebears who believed so strongly in the values of their nation and the rule of law.
Today in Palmyra, Syria, the extremely well-preserved ruins of a Roman free-city stand to be damaged and desecrated by modern day barbarians: ISIL / ISIS.
