Use military force to punish the Assad Regime for the use of chemical weapons against civilians.

With evidence of the Assad Regime using serain gas against civilians, I believe that military force should be taken to punish the regime for using weapons that have ruled inhumane by countries that agree on nothing else. At least one thousand four hundred lives,many women and children,were ended due to the Bashar Al Assad believing that he can launch these weapons of mass destruction without punishment. There needs to be a consequence for the slaughter of civilians. I realize that people will disagree with my argument, but what if the weapons were used on an ally or even on the United States? The public would demand that action be taken, but since the attack was in the Middle East nobody seems to care. Not taking action would be immoral, the slaughter of women and children cannot continue
