Use the names in this petition to show Congress that Americans support Obama's reforms to reduce gun violence.

The NRA currently boasts over 4 million members, and they use this fact very well to remind members of Congress that they all have constituents who are NRA members, and that those 4+ million members are supportive of the NRA's lobbying for gun owners rights. There is no similar organization for those of us who support President Obama's recent proposals to end gun violence, improve school safety, help to keep guns out of the hands of those who would do harm, make access to mental health services easier, etc. If we can get 5 million people to sign this petition, President Obama will be able to prove to Congress, easily and concisely, just how much support there is to enact his proposals!
