This petition is on behalf of all persons in the world, especially women, who are being exposed to ionizing radiation from medical x-rays.

Since it is known that ionizing radiation causes cancer, it becomes non-productive to use it as a screening device.
The only way to cure cancer is to stop causing it first and screen with devices which do not use ionizing radiation, such as MRI or Ultrasound.
Manufacturers should be encouraged to create or enhance the present abilities of diagnostic devices which do not produce ionizing radiation.
