Since the NSA is OBVIOUSLY collecting all data that we send and receive, well we might as well use it for a 'collective' backup mechanism. Why waste all that storage capacity and electricity if we cannot even restore our email, texts, voicemail, conversations, data, etc.. from it.
The US government has essentially built the ultimate data backup system. But the thing is, WE THE PEOPLE own it, so why can't take advantage of it? If you are going to collect all of OUR data, we might as well benefit somehow.
