The western world faces a crisis as people are becoming older on average due to numerous advances, but despite all progress more and more aging people are left frail and unable to fully take part in economy productivity and life. This advance signifies a large segment of the population in the US and most of the developed world that will need pensions to merely survive and very expensive medical care, especially in the late stages of life.
I call on you to push research into treatments that extend human lifespan and make people functionally younger. Aging is effectively a disease. Only very modest statistical advances (months?) in this field will have massive economic benefits for the worlds economies, as well as make your key electorate quite grateful for every healthy year you add.
