The Patriot Act allows the government to seek out and destroy terrorist threats to the security of the country, As was demonstrated in Newtown, the existence of semiautomatic weapons in our society should qualify as a terrorist threat. Shut down the manufacture, ownership, sale and transport of these weapons using George Bush's Patriot Act. Air strikes on manufacturing, warehouse and distribution facilities may be necessary, but proper warning should be given to avoid civilian casualties.
