Use the President's influence to convince Marvel Studios to increase the salaries of the cast of The Avengers 2.

Created by K.F. on May 13, 2013

The cast members of The Avengers 2 must be compensated fairly for their roles in order to avoid recasting and to convince Robert Downey Jr. to sign with the film. With the exception of Downey, who made over $50 million for his role in The Avengers, the main cast members were reportedly only paid $200K each. That figure is far below the value that they each brought to what became the third highest-grossing movie of all time, bringing in over $1.5 billion in sales. Now, the cast is negotiating for higher salaries with Marvel, which is known for recasting characters to avoid paying increased salaries. Downey is not yet signed for the sequel and has said that he will not sign for the film unless his cast mates are fairly compensated. Please save the continuity of this great franchise.
