use relations with Russia to improve Russian LGBT laws and to demand the condemnation of violence against LGBT groups.

Russia continues to enforce anti-gay legislation, causing groups to justify violence against the LGBT community. Furthermore, these acts of violence against LGBT people are considered acceptable and are not being punished. These crimes must stop and the government must ensure the safety of their citizens. The US government is in a position to help assist this helpless community and put an end ot this violence!
