Edward Snowden was entrusted with sensitive information capable of causing harm to the security and safety of the citizens of the United States. Instead of pursuing channels reserved for whistleblowers and contacting proper oversight bodies, he disclosed a legal program to foreign governments and international terrorists. Following these disclosures he has fled to governments with abominable human rights records that actively prosecute journalists, homosexuals, and political dissidents. He is a criminal who has harmed our nation and the Administration should take all necessary means to bring him to justice.
