Use Summer Youth Programs to put aside money for college/ trade school to assist student obtain skills and lower loans.

Created by S.H. on May 11, 2015

Summer Youth/WorkStudy Programs provided the youth of America, with money to pay for expendables. This system paid them directly and may not have been be used for school purposes. The proposal is to use half of the pay to place into an account for their future education needs. This account can be a 529/savings account paid directly to the college/trade school when the student is enrolled. You would have a passive system to help the student put aside money for higher education or to learn a trade. This money could be used towards tuition, books and/or fees and any other expenses once the student is enrolled in the college/trade school. A caveat is to take pre-tax money out from their pay.
