Use technology to keep guns out. Outfit guns w/ RFID tags. Use detectors at schools, etc to alert of approaching gun.

Instead of watching gun control get stalled-out in legislation take immediate action through the use of technology. Today we use RFID tags in our consumer products to know they are in close proximity. Outfit guns during the manufacturing process with a known RFID. Schools, hospital, etc can use a proximity detector to know when a gun is in the vicinity. The tags are pennies and the detectors are widely available. This will alert school administrators that a gun is approaching their school and they can take appropriate action before it's too late.
