There should be a distinction between marriage for heterosexuals and homosexuals. We feel that since being heterosexual is found to be key to species survival in nature, and that all animals for their own self preservation naturally seek out partners of the opposite sex, that heterosexual marriages should be at the very least termed natural as it leads one to conclude that those who are married are of reproductive capability. All legal marriages are equal under the law, however, not all marriages are equal in capacity. Marriage between heterosexual people completes a very real and very natural function, it grows a family that is unique and special, each one genetically distinct from any other family. This is of course accomplished naturally between spouses of opposite gender.
