use the term weapon control instead of gun control so as not to alienate responsible gun owners

a gun is a gun when used for hunting and self protection and those rights should always exist. a gun is a weapon when used against people in an unlawful manner. if this distinction is clearly made, i believe that there will be more support by the majority of americans for meaningful reform.
