They are not a nuclear-armed nation, but would use nuclear weapons against us regardless. Mutually-Assured Destruction means nothing to them. They have no allies in the world except other terrorist groups and are universally reviled. Assuming we could get the backing of the UN Security Council we could drop warheads on Raqqa, Dabiq, and other strongholds held by Daesh. This group is an apocalyptic death cult and a nuclear inferno on their territories would not only remove many of their members, but could also provide live-fire testing for our nuclear arsenal.
