Created by J.S. on May 08, 2013

Total-asset based tax is tax based on a person's total asset, including house, bank saving, stocks, bonds and so on. It like property-tax, just add some other personal wealth.

There are a lot of benefits for total-asset based tax.

First, it help young people to raise kids and family, because they don't have a lot of assets.

Secondly, the problem that rich people pay less tax than poor people will not happen.

At last, since wealth accumulation means more tax, it encourage people to spend more, which will eventually help economy and help job market.
