use the United States drone arsenal to drop/distribute relief supplies to areas affected by Typhoon Haiyan.

Created by S.R. on November 14, 2013

Nearly 2,400 have been confirmed dead, with an estimated death toll of 10,000, and nearly 11,000,000 million people affected in the Philippines, the result of Typhoon Haiyan. With so much devastation, it is difficult for rapid deployment of humanitarian aid to some areas. U.S. military's Predator drones (UAVs) can bear an external payload of nearly 3,000 lbs could easily access affected areas.

We petition that some of the military's drone arsenal to be refit with relief supplies (food, water, medicine) and sent to drop these supplies into affected areas in advance of humanitarian aid workers.
