Live classes over the internet will end school shootings & bus tragedies at a huge savings. In fact, we may be able to profit from the change in the first few years by selling off school buildings & land. The budget savings from the change over can go to improve teacher salaries & benefits, reduce the deficit, and/or be returned to taxpayers. Many families have already started home schooling their kids & this will help them improve the educational quality for these children. Not only are virtual schools progress & security at a savings, going this route won't further erode our constitutional rights. I'm all for better gun regulations, but even talk of a ban of any kind has only benefited gun manufacturers & the NRA, while sending a dangerous world message - The US public is being disarmed.
