We the People have the potential to be an amazing resource for the White House to discover how the populous feels on a given subject.
The issue is while reading through the polls, one may find themselves objecting to the poll rather than agreeing with it. In this case it would give a clearer picture of opinion if one was allowed to petition for or against rather than hoping for a low response rate.
