Use your powers as Commander-in-Chief to invade Canada

The invasion and the subsequent control of Canada is essential to the future of the United States of America. The natural resources and the human capital alone would greatly contribute to America remaining the dominant world economy for centuries to come. When you add the defense advantages of having vast swaths of uninhabited land this decision should become an obvious choice. You need not worry about resistance because Canadians ,whether they are aware of this fact or not, largely consider themselves American, want to be American, or do not care about their nationality. This fact alone will make the invasion and assimilation virtually bloodless and welcomed. This invasion will make a 30+ million American-like people into the actual Americans they deserve to be while adding to US power.
