U.S./SPAIN BI-LATERIAL AGREEMENT THAT ENABLES U.S. CITIZENS (RESIDENTS in SPAIN) to drive with U.S. LICENSE INDEFINITELY

Created by B.H. on February 06, 2013

Spain and the United States share a lot more than most realize. We have TENS of THOUSANDS of families and families members here.

Some U.S. States, like Virginia, already have driving agreements, with FRANCE and GERMANY to allow their citizens to drive in the STATE with their NATIONAL driving license. INDEFINITELY.

I would like to share that policy with SPAIN. Spain used to offer that policy to the U.S. in the 1990´s but the law was changed in 1996/7.

The OVERWHELMINGLY MAJORITY of U.S. AMERICAN RESIDENCE speak Spanish and have been driving for many years.

My POSITION: Permit U.S./Spanish Legal Residence to OBTAIN LEGAL PERMISSION TO DRIVE IN SPAIN-VICE VERSA - INDEFINITELY.
