Stop Utah bill SJR002, which calls to repeal the 17th amendment, our right to vote for our senators as a people.

Created by D.W. on March 07, 2016

I believe that the right to vote for senators in our government should not be repealed. This bill is attempting to quiet the voice of the people in Utah. We need senators that represent us, and our issues, not that of congress!

S.J.R. 002 states: Utah's congressional delegation and all the members of the United States Congress to propose an amendment to the United States Constitution to repeal the Seventeenth Amendment.

This is a direct violation of our right to democracy! Stand with me and others who believe that democracy is a right, and that our senators should represent us! Let us stop this bill where it stands!
