Utilize America's Veterans as Security Officers in our Secondary School Systems

Created by J.N. on December 14, 2012

On December 14, 2012 a tragedy happened at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT. 20 kindergarten students and 6 staff members of the school were massacred in cold blood by a 20 year old man. This is not the first incident of this nature. Columbine High School and Virginia Tech have also fallen victim to these atrocities in the past. The safety and well-being of our children, are of paramount importance.

Currently our Nation has close to 900,000 unemployed Veterans. These warriors were trained to the highest of standards to combat evil and defend innocent civilians, and some have a hard time finding employment in the civilian world after discharge.

We Propose that the administration create an agency to protect our schools, using veterans to fill the positions.
