utilize executive action to create a hydrogen refueling station infrastructure to reduce dependence on foreign oil.

Created by J.L. on May 28, 2015

Congress is tied up with lobbying money from the major oil companies that wants to continue drilling for oil as usual. We need to preserve the amount of oil we have for future sustainability and we also need to reduce emissions to combat climate change.

President Obama can use executive action to require oil companies to provide hydrogen refueling pumps at all fuel stations nationwide. This would reduce our reliance on foreign oil and create a new energy industry that is emissions free and 100% our own.

Automakers would be incentivized by legislation to build more FCVs in the U.S and oil companies could avoid tax penalties for providing these hydrogen pumps to the public. Solar and natural gas industries would also benefit as they are both needed for the creation of hydrogen fuel.
