There is a huge need for small businesses to be created to provide single-stream recycling services to smaller communities. However, the problem is that there may not be disposal facilities near enough to allow for those businesses to be sustainable. By providing a nation-wide infrastructure, this problem would be solved, while increasing both job creation and entrepreneurship in smaller communities.
This infrastructure could include actual recycling facilities or materials transportation throughout the country, connecting those who can pickup and sort materials with those who can utilize those materials into recycled goods. It could also provide post-recycled materials to more businesses that wish to use them.
