Utilize online social networking technologies to improve social welfare spending.

Created by R.W. on September 23, 2011

Place recipients of public funds, individuals and organizations, on an online social networking site, complete with text and picture profiles.

Allow taxpayers to subsidize these recipients directly in exchange for tax credits. The most charitable citizens who give more then their government mandated share can be given special awards and recognitions.

This will cut down on overhead and encourage those people with money to give more by creating an emotional connection between between the parties involved.

To prevent abuse there would need to be a third party to confirm the identity of the recipients. Existing public places (schools, libraries, post offices) can be used and public sector employes can be retrained to have special access to the network and handle the exchange of funds.
