The wildlife bridges are overpasses that are a grassy wooded area that allow animals to cross the highway safely. Highways cut through the animals' natural habitat as well as migration routes. Animals will instinctively use these passes which will decrease the amount of roadkill and accidents caused by animals crossing the highways, making it safer for the animals and humans alike. The amount of animals that I see on the side of the road is atrocious and saddening. It will also help the nation financially because you would be using as much money for roadkill clean up. It will also stop overpopulation in concentrated areas, since the animals will be able to follow their natural migration routes to find food. We are far behind other countries such as Germany and France in this endeavor.
