Utilize X-37B space plane to assist Russian Mars probe to higher orbit

Created by T.S. on December 18, 2011

As a gesture of good will to further good relations with Russia, and to further scientific research benefiting all mankind, the Administration would be wise to instruct the U.S. Air Force to utilize the X-37B space plan, currently in a long-term orbital test flight, to offer an assist to push the malfunctioning Russian Mars probe into a higher orbit. This would give the Russians time to put together a repair mission. Hundreds of millions of dollars in man hours have been put into this probe, which will all be for naught if the probe burns up the Earth's atmosphere. The United States is currently in a very unique position to potentially offer assistance in this matter thanks to the X-37B, which would be of great benefit to us all with regards to space exploration and foreign relations.
