VA "clinics" in hosps fr frm VA facs. Give VA svc fr VA prbs(ptsd, tbi, ampuT) & MD svc 4 MD prbs(I.e.flu,Etc...)

Created by D.W. on April 15, 2015

VA hospitals provide an invaluable service to the men & women who have protected our freedoms. They also have a unique understanding of the problems that our vets face. As the son of someone who died of svc related injuries I have seen first hand how these facilities are overburdened. The men & women that have served can have a wide range of medical problems ranging from routine to "veteran specific" (like PTSD, Amputations,etc...). If the VA created partnerships w/ private hospitals where they had "clinics" to specialize help in what they do VERY well for vets, and delegate routine MD care to the private MDs, this would likely save money and give vets better & easier access to the help they need. It's not unusual for vets to find the closes VA hospital is 100mi away in rural areas.
