We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Va concurrent enrollment

Created by A.L. on September 12, 2016

Veterans, no matter their length of service should be authorized concurrent enrollment if any injuries were incurred in the combat zone whether they have less than 20 years service and received medical discharge or retired at or after 20 years and already drawing disability. If no injuries occurred in combat zone then current policy would apply. The VA has been stopping disability payment of vets that have been receiving them a few up to many years without any type of notification. In these cases, the VA or Military made the mistake, Vets then come to count on the payments to care for continued medical assisstance, and caring for themselves and their families. Vets that retire with over 50% rating should not lose Tricare (Guard or reserves) when they retire as most require continued care.
