Congress does not deserve or can it afford to take a break from session this year. Most good jobs give you vacation time, but in most cases your boss has to approve. This is our democracy we are in control. Only school children shoulde have breaks, if you are an adult you need to ensure that their is coverage if you are going to be out of the office. Why is the legislative branch of the federal government permitted to take a holiday.
Israel is in crisis; Syria is still in civil war; Iraq is still unstable...and a Russian made weapon system may or may have definitely shot down a commercial airline. That should be a big deal even if no americans were killed.
We are the people, any government break should be approved by us, plus they got most of october off. We dont get that.
