We the undersigned, in order to promote a cohesive national culture, improve communications, and to reduce costs of government, request that the Obama Administration adopt a strict policy of English as the Official Language for the United States of America.
As such, all government documents, communications, forms, manual, instructional materials and all other written, printed, electronic, video, audio and other forms of communication be conducted in English, and only in English.
Translations to other languages will not be encouraged or financed. For example, Social Security, Financial Aid, Welfare and IRS forms will all be published in English and only in English.
Government will be freed from the burden and costs of translating and printing redundant non-English versions.
