Puerto Rico has had many referendums, plebiscites and years of bickering about the political status of the Island. We are Americans, and we are just asking for equal rights and representation in our nation which is denying our constitutional right as Americans. The political environment of the Island is to misinform the public and at the present time the antidemocratic attitude of the present Administration, is only producing more negative actions against this Island finances and to the people. The majority of the people decided in 2012 that we wanted statehood.
