vehemently oppose, intervene and prevent Sudan's death sentence of Meriam Ibrahim simply because she is a Christian.

Created by G.O. on May 16, 2014

The Sudanese government has condemned to death a Christian woman, Meriem Ibrahim, simply because she is a Christian. They have given her an ultimatum to recant her faith to save her life or to die by hanging. Being endowed by our Creator with unalienable rights, one of them being life, it is unacceptable that a person would be sentenced to death simply because of their world view. Such an action is an atrocity and an egregious violation of human rights! We urge the President to take every action necessary to defend this woman, to stand up for human rights and to prevent this heinous act of religious persecution!
