With the highest speed limit on US highways being 85MPH there is no need for cars to exceed this speed. Congress needs to enact law that would limit a vehicles top speed to 85MPH, as well as restrict acceleration to no faster than 60MPH within 10seconds.
This will help reduce accidents caused by reckless driving.
