verify that candidates for federal elected office are psychologically fit to perform the job sought.

Created by B.M. on September 29, 2013

If Police officers, corrections officers, recruits for the military are all subject to psychological screening, how much more so, should be the men and women who govern our nation be checked to insure that they be able to do the duties required of the position to which they aspire?
senators, congressmen, the president all need to be of sound mind and in full control of their faculties, in order to manage the everyday tasks, as well as natural disasters, attacks, wars, and economic difficulties.
Proposed: that perspective candidates for high political office, at their own cost, be required to pass a psychological screen, a battery of tests, to insure that the candidate can actually perform his duties, if elected. Testing to be done by a recognized testing authority.
