According to the Veterans Administration (VA) website as of April 18, 2015 there were 450,391 claims received by the VA that require development and decision by the VA claims processor. The website also reports that there is a backlog of 177, 037 cases which have been waiting for more than 125 days for a rating decision.
We the following petitioners are requesting that the White House, in order to assist the VA in the processing of these claims and to get the benefits out to the veterans, allow HIPPA certified volunteers to scan, transcribe, or process backlogged files into the VA data base. This would help expedite those awaiting claims and get the veterans the checks or medical treatment that they need and deserve.
