There are quite a few veterans that are leaving the military before serving 20 years and receiving nothing. Some of these veterans have seen multiple tours and because they have been fortunate to not be wounded or have nagging injuries (bad backs, joints) from the demands of their jobs they will get their GI Bill and a hand shake. I feel that there should be a small (10-15%) pension for those who have given a large chunk of their lives to this country. I'm not saying that they get nothing by any means, but given some circumstances there should be something more for them.
