VETERANS MEDICATIONS to be packaged in BLISTER PACKS.

Created by M.B. on June 01, 2015

For all medication prescriptions.
Currently Military & Civil servants who have Tri-Care insurance, you can receive your medications via "home delivery" up to a 90 day supply at no cost to them. The problem is; when those same people are now living in an assisted living or nursing home, the facilities are reluctant to allow those people to use "Express Scripts" and receive the medications since they are not in "Blister Packs" but in the standard bottled packaging.
Issues; (1) The recipient must now go through a third party and PAY for their meds. foregoing express scripts.
(2) The facilities are reluctant to use bottled meds. since there is a higher risk of mis-medicating due to high turn over & under trained staff. (3) This eliminates the benefit they should be receiving from tri-care.
