Veterans should be able to be proud of their service and not be charged extra!

I recently applied for Personalized Veterans Plates and the initial cost I understand, it is the reoccurring fees that are outrageous. The fact that I want to display that I have served in combat should not cost me almost $50 more every year. The fact that Veterans are being exploited and no one has taken action is sickening. I don't think we should get plates for free, I just feel we should not have to pay more.
