At the height of a war that was not popular, seeing more VETERANS killed, our military could not meet quotas to fill the troops. The national guard troops and the military increased the re-up bonuses or guard units above the normal amounts. Ten years later the military says it is a mistake and they want the money back. These veterans do not deserve to have to mortgage their homes, go into debt and or file bankruptcy when they signed up in good faith for their country and their families. Time for CONGRESS to act and take care of these men and women who serve and give their life. Congress do what is right for these men and women, ZERO out this bottom line. You can sacrifice closing down our government, sacrifice something that is much more valuable, the trust of these VETERANS !
