With cuts to our Military this is more of an urgent matter- as additional needs & responsibilities will impact all Reservists. Unless placed on active duty orders for 180 days consecutively our servicemembers are not granted to earn full veteran status/ benefits. Change to allow our Guard/Reserve members to be allocated Full "Veterans Status" & earn full veteran's benefits. Change status to allow all members that have fulfilled 30+ days on active duty & serve 2+ yrs in Guard/Reserve will earn full veterans status. Also members who non-deploy & honorably serve a min. of 10 years will earn full veterans status. Traditional Guard/Reservist who retires with 20+ yrs of honorable service cannot collect any retirement until age 60. Change law to allow Retiree's to collect retirement pay at age 50
