Save the Pension protection that is currently a law in ERISA. This will affect potentially 10 million retirees. Currently an existing benefit may not be reduced. If the fund that the pensioner participates defaults, the PGIC will protect the pensioner. Under this proposal this will no longer be applicable. This will allow for many pensioner's to be on the fringe of homelessness.
