We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

Veto the 2016 UN condemnation of Israeli settlements

Created by D.G. on December 24, 2016

The United States has been a long-standing partner of Israel in the defense of their views and actions.
Suddenly changing this position and choosing not to use the Veto power given to the U.S. by the UN as one of the five permanent members is blatantly disrespectful to Israel. The end of a term is by no means a reason to destroy relations.

We the people call on the White House to do what is expected by the American People and keep the position we have been standing by since World War II.
