This petition is in response to the growing number of pieces of legislature that threaten the 1st amendment rights of internet users, as well as the infrastructure of the internet, and net neutrality, which the Obama administration has repeatedly sworn to protect. Bills such as SOPA and PIPA, as well as trade agreements such as ACTA threaten the internet as a free media, and should be rewritten or vetoed.
